As they say, "a trip to Bali is not enough." The vast, seemingly endless beaches, beautiful tropical landscapes, fascinating culture, a very hospitable people and shopping local crafts continue to attract repeat tourists in Bali, time after time.
However, as I have been discovering in my last trip, stay at Villa Bali Rental Mia, no more than this tropical paradise at first glance.
Today You can also add to the list above, highlight a range of activities catering for both action-oriented holiday maker and more stable.
That's a starter list of 10 new things you may want to try when you are next in Bali:
1) Bird Park
There must be a bird watcher to enjoy this colorful park. Take off in the morning, and discover the beauty of an array of tropical birds, Bali has to offer. Even better, arrive later in the afternoon, and enjoy the amazing sun-set melodies. An excellent choice for enthusiasts and families. (It is located in Taman Burung - open 08:00 - 18:00 daily)
2) Cruising
Select the boat to choose from, and my head on the high seas! Currently, Bali has a great selection of safe boats to choose from. Go to the fun filled trip to the family or the more adventurous, some of the latest cutting edge crafts which provide speed. (Bali Hai Cruises, Sea Safari Cruises, Bounty Cruises)
3) Dance Performances
Be enthralled by the Balinese dancing! Try to catch one of each of: Kecak, Legong and Fire Dances, at least. There are dozens of different teams to choose from, each with your own below. Keep in mind, shows in hotels and tourist restaurants offer vanilla flavor and sometimes mechanical re-creations of the real thing. Head some villages, and you will be handsomely rewarded authentic fare.
4) Designer Shopping
No, I'm not talking about "false originals' that litter the streets in many other places in Asia. In recent years, Bali attracts some of the most talented designers and artists around the world (in the East and West). This combined with the innate artistic skills from Bali, Bali means that today enjoys a large the number of unique shops. You can find everything from the installation of modern lighting, pantries, to Imperial Chinese style, and the original designs fountains of water to some of the best jewelry designed and manufactured anywhere in the world.
5) Diving
Embed PADI license to use, or if you are a diving newbie, just do it, and receive a PADI Bali! The choice of the organizers for advanced diving and scuba diving for newcomers are available to choose from. Some offer PADI Youth Scuba 'courses for ages 5 +.
6) Dolphin Watching
Use these all-time favorites in their natural environment. They are in their best first week. Also, soft-colored sunrise delivers amazing colors for lovers of photography. However, you need to plan on this one, because Lovina in the north of the island, and you will more than likely be staying in a hotel or rent a villa in the south.
7) Fishing
Go after that marlin or try your hand at yellow fin tuna! Most boats offer complete solution, bait and comment on an ongoing, friendly, giggly banter which makes the day that much more enjoyable. (Fishing boats from Benoa Harbour or Sanur)
Elephant Safari Park
Probably one of the best in Southeast Asia! Excellent location and gardens. Do not forget to do an elephant safari ride.
9) water-skiing
To re-create your favorite memories of Baywatch! Because of their impact on the environment, only available at selected beaches on the island. (Available at the Grand Hyatt Nusa Dua).
10) Go-Karting
Only for those who are the symptoms of withdrawal from the hustle and bustle of big city! All the noise, excitement and risk of the real thing! Choice of single or double carriages.
