What is the real time difference between the sun rising on the east coast and the west coast?
Taking into consideration time zones, how many minutes difference is there from when the East Coast of the US and the West Coast sees the sun rise?
I'm wondering that if we had no time zones, what is the "lag time" for sunrise (or sunset, don't care) due to the earth's rotation from the east coast to the west coast?
Latitude can make a BIG difference in sunrise times as well. It's a FOUR hour difference, not three. Here's the proof:
